It was definitely one of THOSE days today. Oh. my. goodness. Glad it's over. And about 4:00 my son came home from school and made some very generic comment to which I totally over-reacted and went off on a rant for which I had to apologize shortly thereafter. Yup, not one of my finer moments.
Tonight both Jim and I had a planning meeting at our church, and when we got home this was on the kitchen table, from our son (though the girls had signed too.) Can you read the note? It says "to congratulate you on selling the house and to thank you for being such good parents" Now is that not sweet?!? Yes, I did get teary. And chocolates and flowers for me, and a horse magazine for Jim. What a perfectly splendid end to the day.
So tomorrow the appraiser comes at 10 a.m. and the inspector comes at 2:00 p.m. Things are happening!
