Nothing But Blue Skies . . .

Is there anything as lovely as a cool September morning? Life is good!

October's Digest is complete, and on sale now. Check it out here.

November's manuscript has gone to editing and layout, and we're making good progress on December's issue.

So, I'm celebrating with a long-weekend-mini-vacation with a good friend up in Canada. She's been my buddy since grade-school days--a true kindred spirit, lots of fun with a wonderful sense of humor. I'm REALLY looking forward to the change of pace . . . cups of tea and poking around quaint little shops, maybe even knitting in the evenings . . . who knows? Boy does that make me sound OLD!

Back at ya Monday!

Backyard Blessings

Hundreds of morning glories this summer from one 79 cent package of seeds.

Can you spot the spider webs on the thrift-store birdhouse?
And . . . the long awaited first egg! Two out of the five chickens are laying now. We THINK Lucy and Genevieve are the producers. They're certainly making the most noise, anyway!

We're slowly but surely finding our rhythm of homeschooling, homeworking, and homekeeping as the summer turns into fall. I might even find time to blog again!
