Every time I see/smell lilacs I think of my grandmother. She had huge bushes that covered one entire end of the barn on the farm where my mother grew up. Lovely.
I think of my Grandma too when I smell lilacs. We lived next door and the lilac tree was on the pathway between our homes - YUM! We have lilac trees in the common areas of our complex we live in and they are almost in bloom - can't wait to go sniff!
