Bring Yer Rubber Gloves

In what has been a season of "When it rains it pours" the dishwasher is the latest casualty. Guests . . . yinz have been warned!

In happier news, two of our daughters were baptized this week. (3 John 1:4 ~ I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.) Really, what else compares?

Our son will graduate from high school in a couple of weeks. I can't tell you how glad we will be to have that over!

And . . . the chicken coop is ALMOST done! Just in time too, those chick babies are HUGE now.

On dishwashers: My husband recently bought me a new dw. The second-cheapest Bosch at Lowe's, and I love it. It's so quiet you hardly know it's on. Absolutely wonderful.

On kids getting baptized: AMEN!

On kids graduating! AMEN again! I have two years left with the last one. I feel like I've been doing this for a thousand years.

On chicks: They're like puppies. I only like them when they're little and cute. Although we did have some Amish neighbors who had these chickens that looked like they were wearing bloomers under their dresses--cutest things I ever saw!

We're awaiting word from my daughter who has been in labor all day. Soon! (I hope.)

CONGRATS on the baptisms, graduation and chicken home.

Good luck with the dishwasher. Remind me not to swing by your house if I road trip this summer - until you have a new one. I don't wanna be put to work. I hate doing dishes. LOL
